Recognising the importance of computational methods and tools in modern biological research, Institutes have appointed senior positions to lead their support of Scientific computing, and to liaise closely with Research Computing for infrastructure support and delivery. An NBI-wide Scientific Computing Committee (SCC) meets frequently to coordinate cross-site requirements; comprising the relevant Head from each Institute, and the Head of Research Computing.
